Collecting Andromeda Autographs & Memorabilia

Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda ran from 2000 to 2005, following Captain Dylan Hunt and the crew of the starship Andromeda Ascendant. Its five-season run gave collectors a full ensemble to build around, and its lead brings a ready-made cross-franchise audience.

The crew is headed by Kevin Sorbo (Dylan Hunt), with an ensemble that includes Lisa Ryder (Beka Valentine), Lexa Doig (the ship's avatar, Andromeda / Rommie), Keith Hamilton Cobb (Tyr Anasazi), Laura Bertram (Trance Gemini), Brent Stait (Rev Bem) and Gordon Michael Woolvett (Seamus Harper). Sorbo's earlier fame from Hercules means many collectors approach Andromeda through him.

An ensemble worth assembling

Andromeda has a smaller collecting footprint than the biggest franchises, which tends to mean less mass-produced fakery but also fewer reference examples in circulation. The ship's-crew structure makes full-cast pieces an appealing long-term goal.

With a comparatively thin secondary market, the emphasis for Andromeda falls on provenance and reference:
